A services company near DTLA is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team in this newly created role due to company growth. In this role, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, financial statements, journal entries, reconciling cash and banks statements, and assisting with month-end close. What do you need for this Staff Accountant role?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2-4 years of accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel
  • Experience using a mid-sized or large company ERP software
  • Strong knowledge in US GAAP
What will you do in this Staff Accountant role?
  • Assist with month-end close
  • Consolidate financial statements
  • Create supporting schedules
  • Cash reconciliation
  • Budget to actuals analysis
  • Support the annual financial statement audit
  • Preparation of journal entries
