Weston is looking for a motivated individual to join our Enterprise Visualization and Analytics team that develops and implements Geospatial Solutions for our clients, including supporting our environmental Emergency Response teams. Duties for this position include working in and managing the ArcGIS Enterprise and Online Platforms to develop and support of geospatial solutions for client delivery within the ArcGIS Enterprise Suite of tools. This Individual will need to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, both technical and non-technical. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of GIS and enterprise (server) level software and workflows.
Location:Houston or Dallas TX
Expected Outcome:
  • Develop tools and workflows to automate and streamline mapping, data management and geoprocessing tasks in the ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Publish and manage map, feature and geoprocessing services using ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Create Mobile Data Applications (Survey123, FieldMaps, QuickCapture, etc.)
  • Assist the development of Communication, Reporting, and Visualization Tools using ArcGIS Online and Esri JavaScript API
  • Assist in the development and implementation of governance for ArcGIS Online User and Content Management
  • Assist in the management of user, group, and role permissions for ArcGIS Portal, Server, and ArcGIS Online
  • Support Enterprise geodatabases (SDE) and services.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Environmental/Earth Sciences, GIS, Geosciences, Geography, Engineering, or Related Sciences or GIS Certificate preferred.
  • 3+ Years of GIS Experience and or Training
  • Proficient in the latest versions of ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro.
  • Proficient in map projections and spatial data transformations
  • Experience in user and content management in ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, and Portal
  • Experience working in Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite including Access.
  • Strong understanding of geodatabase structure and capabilities
  • Strong understanding of SQL statements
  • Strong understanding of working in GIS tools based in Model Builder, Python, R
  • Understanding of GPS technology and data.
  • Organizational and Prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications Skills
  • Work collaboratively with and under the supervision of a Senior Team Member/Project Manager
  • Willingness and interest in exploring solving spatial problems using python scripts, models, etc.
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to create and modify SQL Statements for data modification.
  • Ability to migrate ArcMap toArcPro.
  • Ability to publish and manage map, feature and geoprocessing services usingArcPro, ArcCatalog and ArcGIS Server Manager experience.
  • Mobile Data Collection Development in the ArcGIS Online Suite of Application including ArcGIS Collector/Field Maps and Survey123.
  • Familiarity of the ArcGIS Enterprise including ArcGIS Online, Server, and Portal.
  • Programming Languages - Python, R, JavaScript,ArcadeGPSSoftware and equipmentExperience- Trimble, Arrow,TerraSync, Pathfinder,etc.
  • Familiarity with 2D and 3D modeling software - Surfer,EarthVision, EVS, etc.
  • Experience working with and managing SDSFIE databases.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Salary Range: $44,200 - $59,000 - $73,700
