Minimal Qualifications: |
Master's degree in any field with at least 18 GCH in Animal Science, Plant Science, or Agribusiness emphasis degree or a qualifying field,
OR
A bachelor's degree in Equestrian Studies, Landscape Design, Turf Management, or Greenhouse Management degree/certificate courses.
Qualifying Fields include: Agriculture Animal Science Plant Science Agribusiness Entomology Soil Science Veterinary Medicine Equestrian Studies Landscape Design Turf Management Greenhouse Management

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: |
- Experience working in your qualified field
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Familiarity and willingness to employ current pedagogical, instructional, and assessment methods in teaching college students
- Coursework, teaching experience, or other demonstrated familiarity with technology in the classroom
- Evidence of teamwork and collaborative efforts

PLEASE NOTE: This position is contingent on budget-appropriated funding. Position available Fall 2024 unless otherwise approved.

A cover letter which indicates the position of interest and addresses the following:
- The highlights of your education and experience which specifically prepare you for this position;
- The mission of the community college and how you would contribute to the mission;
- How your teaching style would reflect the diverse learning style of our students;
- Your familiarity with the instructional technology appropriate to your discipline;
- The basis for your familiarity with multi-culturalism as you would apply it to your discipline; and
- The methods of assessment you would use to assess student learning outcomes.
A resume to include three professional references with name, address, and phone number.
Official or student copies of your transcripts. Official transcripts are required if selected for interview. Candidates who are currently completing the specified degree or requirements must submit documentation that all requirements, including conferral of degree, will be met by June 30, 2024
Applicants selected for interview will be required to prepare a ten (10) minute teaching demonstration on an assigned topic.
Interviews will be conducted by a screening committee.
